Salute to the Bay - Pack of 10 Greeting Cards (US & CA)

Bison, magnificent, iconic lords of the plains, never cease to fascinate.  I've combined this regal profile with the equally iconic stripes of the Hudson's Bay company. These hallmarks of the expansion of European influence have become legendary in they psyche of the west. Sadly, we've just lost "The Bay" to bankruptcy, so their 350-odd year history is now on the books.  

 Luckily the buffalo, with their ancient pedigree are still with us, though not in their tens of millions as before.I’m Gena LaCoste, a passionate Canadian Western painter, and I’m thrilled to share my art through these unique notecards featuring images from my original paintings. Having been raised here, on a ranch on the magnificent Bow River, I'm truly a lover and a student of the natural environment I grew up in and of the wonderful culture that it's developed over the past 250 years.  From my work, I've developed my notecards, so that these images can be more widely shared.  Perfect for gifting or personal use, these notecards bring the spirit of my Alberta prairies to every message.
