Here's more bucking horses, relaxing in the sun; my absolute favourite thing to paint.  I did this small piece as a demo at the art show with our annual Medicine Hat Stampede.  Meanwhile the horses themselves were just a short walk from there, being the star athletes during the rodeo. 

If you get a chance, get to a rodeo and take the time to really look at and enjoy these gorgeous animals doing their thing.  Check out the licorice all-sorts colours, builds and styles and (like athletes everywhere), be sure to observe the "attitude".
