THis original watercolour of Jason Glass of World Chuckwagon Championship fame's lead team, crossing the finish line, is one of my personal favourite paintings. It was a joy to paint and it will enhance any home. Wagon racing is one of the most exciting events we have here in Canada and I look forward to it every summer. With it's high powered thoroughbred horses and lightweight wagons, it's a far cry from the originals, when camp cooks brought their full kitchen chuckwagons to Calgary along with their teams (usually heavy horses) and competed with other similar rigs from other ranches. Things have changed a lot since then! If you've never been to the wagon races, you really have GOT to put that on your bucket list!
It's full sheet size (22X30") and with the frame approx 28 x36", is beautifully framed; floated in textured cream matt with uv protective invisible glass and a magnificent wooden frame.
