Bucking horses are some of my very favourite subject matter.  They're such characters, and often very bold and curious around people, which is the opposite of what one would expect.  I think they're happy because they live in herds like horses are created to do, many with multi-generational family members.  I believe this makes them feel secure, and when in optimal situations I feel their goofy sense of humour very keenly.
