In  recent work, I have been doing the pen & ink FIRST and adding the watercolour after. You wouldn’t think it’d make such a difference, but my audience is embracing the work! And lately I’ve been saluting our iconic Hudson’s Bay Company with their famous stripes, as we watch that famous company implode into the annals of history. Thankfully the buffalo have manage to survive, and many still remain on ranches and are being protected in parks across the west.
