The Station

Boy was I ever cussing this morning, trying to draw this darn thing! What was I thinking?  I hate drawing buildings, and this one with all it’s roof lines, windows and fancy braces, nearly did me in!  It’s so gorgeous though, and every time I drive through downtown, I enjoy the very sight of it.  Every town on the rail line had a station, back in the day, and they, like the elevators are vanishing.  We need to ask ourselves why it is that we seldom make beautiful buildings any more
