Summer’s Last Gasp

I had a small dinner party last Friday, and I scrounged these last few bits of greenery from my yard and stuffed them in my precious little Eastend pottery vase. A week later, I can’t bear to throw them out, even though they get more begraggled every day. If I do, I think it means I’m surrendering to winter, and I’m darn well not ready to do that.
