L’Hotel

OK, lets have a break from birds in winter and fly to France in May instead. Remember Monpazier from a week ago…the ancient castle-town?  This exquisite old, old hotel was found just off the central square, and the modern touches of  umbrellas and sign-boards did nothing to detract from the elegance, craftsmanship and symmetry of  the place. Who designed a built these places and where are they today? To me this proves that functionality can last for centuries, and beauty does not have to be sacrificed for that.
