In His Shoes 3

Lurking in the furnace room are umpteen pairs of my son’s cowboy boots in various states of wear and tear.  Obviously these were the ones he wore to the latest branding he was at, still boasting a liberal amount of mud and manure, and still with his spurs on. What is it about footwear that so powerfully evokes the person who last stood in them!?

Hi Gena. I dropped by to see what you are painting today. You always find so many intriguing subjects to paint. My wife would love these boots. She has too many. Thank you too Gena for your visit and your words of encouragement. This art business is a lonely profession. Sure glad i have the internet to connect with other artists and know we are all out there working. Have a wonderful painting day. Cheers!
