How can you tell I was re-living my trip to France? This painting is also from the visit to Monpazier (see yesterday’s entry). It was May and the roses were blooming everywhere. They seemed to thrive between cracks in the limestone; they climbed trellises, cascaded off of balconies and sprawled across ancient tile roofs. From white to deepest red and every shade in between, they brought their Grace.
