Friends in Saskatchewan raise black Clydesdales….you’ve seen their horses here before. The foals are born brown and fuzzy, like a giant plush toy, and as they age they acquire the glossy coat of an adult, and in this herd, they’re almost always black. A painting OR a photo doesn’t begin to convey the sheer size and power; that needs to be experienced first hand. That and the kind, gentle intelligence.
