You won’t usually catch me painting winter, but this is the second little painting derived from a February day that reminds me so much of scenes throughout my life.
I notice that when it’s going to Chinook, the air takes on a brilliant blue light, and the play of gold and orange grass and trees against blue and purple shadow is almost enough to pop your eyes out! I’m thinking I’ll do a bigger version of this one….one of these days.
