Cut Banks Across from Echo-Dale

These bluffs are the eroded river valley of the South Saskatchewan River, as seen from Echo-Dale Farm (see my blog entry several days ago.) My horse lives on the side of the river seen in this painting, so we ride along a trail along the bottom and become a part of the incredible echo system that thrives there. The wildlife abounds…Canada Geese, rabbits, hares , rattle snakes, mule and white tail deer, beaver, eagles, hawks, owls, turkey vultures, coyotes, and a huge variety of song birds make this landscape their home.

Every ride is an adventure.
