We haven’t had a cowboy for awhile, and that just won’t do!
This competent young man works at Quilchena Ranch near Merritt B.C. and I met him when visiting there last year. The flat hat and brush cuffs are typical of the buckaroo style of ranch cowboy which has migrated up from Mexico from the Vaquero tradition. Cowboy fashion has a lot to do with region and the type of work involved. And then there’s individual flair of which the cowboys I know have a huge abundance!
