OK, I am so not a train artist. This is my first train EVER. I grew up 3/4 of a mile from the main CPR line, and now live even closer, so trains have weaseled their way into my DNA. When I go for my daily walk in the coulee, invariably a train hauls a** through there.
So here’s a train heading east, out of the Hat, with dramatic Alberta skies as a backdrop. All we need now is the screaming of the diesel engines.
Have you hugged a train today?

HIGHBALLIN’ down the track! You really captured the speed and attitude. Do trains have attitude?
Hi Thea! Yes, they definitley have attitude……often a very methodical, plodding hard-at-work attitude, but I think this guy had a lighter load.
Hard buggers to draw too!
