This weekend I had a real treat. My niece Claire & her mom came to Medicine Hat with their small-town skating club, for a figure skating competition. What fun to watch, and though figures and portraits are not my best “thing” I had to attempt a little painting of Claire skating her program. She’s so joyful when she skates…..she lights up the ice.
