This is Bear, family dog at my brother’s place. Now Bear isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he is very easy going. He had a gopher tunnel into his kennel, and was quite content to cohabitate with that varmint, much to the consternation of his “people”. Though smart he ain’t, he does have a good memory. He remembers people who try to groom him (note the rat-bag coat!) or remove porcupine quills, and will sulk and hold a grudge for months.
Here he’s at his most joyous. His favourite person, Diana, is home from university, and he gets to go for a ride in the back of her little red Toyota pickup.
