The light in this painting is just like the light outside today. Never was there a prettier day in the history of the world. I spent part of it watching my nieces and lots of friends competing in a huge team roping event. Look for the rims of light around objects and bouncing off the edges of things. This is really evident as the sun gets lower in the sky towards the end of summer, and when the air is dry and clear. SOLD
