Well, here’s the finished product. Not sure what to think. The illustration board produces different results than watercolour paper or board; the paint doesn’t flow, but tends to sit there and dry in blobs. Also the surface is not nearly as tough as w/c paper, so I can’t scratch into it or rub or scrub, without damaging the surface. There was almost no detail in my photo…a pure silhouette, so I had to make up the horses faces etc. It was fun though; a good experiment. I may try it again one day, but using a true watercolour support. SOLD
