Today’s offering is a scratchy, quick thing I did in my sketch book, of a team that was on the trail ride at Lonvgiew in August. Sometimes it’s fun to just race around with my pen & ink and slop some paint on top of that, so that was the process here, and with my soup pot the other day.
There guys are pure Percheron, a heavy horse breed that is born black and remain so until they get on up in years when they turn this gorgeous dapple grey. I think this is the prettiest team I’ve ever seen.

just keep racing around with that pen and ink; slop that paint! this is a fine way to work.
